Recession-Not all bad

A small business is one that employs a very little number of people. As is the case with every business, it’s the idea or the timing behind it that counts.
During the period of recession, various small business ventures thrived, mostly pawn shops and second hand shops, also known as thrift stores. As is obvious, they have a clientele that is composed mostly of people who are not financially very well off. So, in time of the recession where there were major layoffs and bankruptcies, these businesses have grown to accommodate more people who have been adversely affected by the recession. So the recession wasn’t all bad, was it?
